How to Reach Us
We're based at 716 Corporate Center Dr, Pomona, CA 91768, and you can reach us at 909-247-3740. From that address we cover Pomona and the nearby cities, including just 2 miles to the SSW, Montclair and La Verne at about 4 miles, Diamond Bar and Claremont at 5 miles, and Walnut at 6 miles. We also take calls from Covina, Glendora, Chino Hills, West Covina, and the rest of the service area out to Eastvale and El Monte at 12 to 15 miles. If you're not sure whether your address falls inside that range, call and ask before you book - we'd rather tell you no up front than show up for a job we can't finish in one visit because of drive time.
We don't run a dispatch center or a call queue that routes you to whoever's closest. One shop, one number, one address. If the line is busy, it's because we're on a job, not because the call got forwarded somewhere else.
What We Will Not Do
We won't quote a repair over the phone sight unseen when the problem is anything beyond a stuck photo-eye or a dead remote battery. Springs, cables, and bent track all need eyes on them first. We also won't tell you a 1965-era door with a long-gone manufacturer can be patched forever - a lot of the housing stock here was built between 1951 and 2007, with plenty concentrated in the 1960s and 70s construction boom across the 45 named communities in this area, and some of those original doors are past the point where new parts fit the old frame. At some point replacement is the honest answer, not another repair bill.
We don't do new home construction or commercial roll-up installs. We don't sell smart-home packages as a bolt-on to a repair call just because we're already in the garage. And we won't leave a broken torsion spring system half-fixed because the rest of the hardware is easier to walk away from than to finish properly - if it's not safe to leave, we say so before we leave.
The Work We Take On
Most of what comes through the door is springs
Broken torsion springs on doors that have been cycling since the 1960s or 70s without ever being serviced, snapped extension springs on the lighter single-car doors that came standard on that era's tract housing. We work on tracks bent from a car bumper, rollers that have worn down to metal-on-metal, cables that have frayed off the drum, and openers that have quit mid-cycle.
The climate here runs in the moderate-heat band rather than the extreme end of the scale
So we don't see the kind of thermal expansion failures that show up in hotter desert climates - but daily sun exposure on steel panels still matters over decades, and paint and seal wear is common on doors installed in that same original construction period. We replace weatherstripping, realign out-of-square tracks, and swap opener logic boards when the board itself is the failure point rather than the motor.
We size parts to the door that's actually on the house, not a generic replacement kit
Which matters more here than in newer subdivisions because of how many original doors from that 1951-2007 build window are still in service.
Who Turns Up
Whoever answers your call is who shows up with the parts truck - we don't subcontract the work out to a third party after we've quoted it. We look at the door, the track, and the opener before we start pulling anything apart, because on a house built in the 1960s or 70s the hardware behind the panel isn't always what the model number on the door suggests.
We'll tell you plainly if a part needs to be special-ordered - some older spring sizes and drum types aren't sitting on a shelf anywhere nearby, and that can mean a short wait rather than a same-day fix. We'd rather say that up front than promise a timeline we can't hit.
